I already told you about the New Orleans Steak and Seafood House in a separate post, so I’m going on from there, which was the piece de resistance of our dining.

We had lunch the next day at Hall’s Catfish and Seafood Express. It’s fast and it’s good. Perfect for lunch. The catfish are local farm raised so they are fresh and crisp, fried with a light batter. The French fries are cut thin with a bare outer edge of potato skin still clinging and served hot and fast along with good cole slaw and hush puppies. Nothing greasy. We washed it down with a cold glass of sweet tea with lemon. I tried the tartar sauce, but it was not strong enough for my taste.
